The Ercos EVMC 160 controlled mechanical ventilation system It is the ideal solution for air exchange in residential and commercial premises of new or renovated buildings, characterised by high levels of thermal insulation; being a decentralised system, it is suitable for the ventilation of single rooms.
This decentralized VMC unit is a single alternating flow with heat recovery by internal ceramic block, low energy consumption. Ideal for installation in single rooms (living rooms and bedrooms). Can be used individually or in combination with another unit to maximize efficiency, improving system balance.
With a minimalist design, its simple lines allow it to be inserted into any interior environment; the front cover is easily removable to facilitate cleaning and maintenance operations and the perimeter suction, with a hidden hole, makes the installation even more discreet.
This VMC unit is made of high quality resistant materials, ABS front cover and closing damper to prevent air from re-entering when not in operation, the hole diameter is 160 mm . It consists of a brushless DC fan motor with control electronics on ball bearings, double washable dust filter that is easily accessible for maintenance and the possibility of replacing the standard filter with optional filters; it is also equipped with LED visual indicators for receiving commands and cleaning filters which makes it even more intuitive and easy to use and has a high efficiency heat exchanger (up to 93%) made of washable ceramic material with a length of 100 mm. The heat exchanger allows you to filter and purify the external air that enters the room, removing pollutants, dust and allergens, furthermore, the internal air is continuously removed, eliminating humidity and bad odors.
It features automatic restart, therefore the restoration of the last settings in the event of a sudden power failure, IPX4 protection rating and operating temperature -30°C / +50°C.
The pipe has a standard length of 500 mm , versatile and can be shortened to offer maximum adaptability to different wall thicknesses: it is possible to shorten the duct from its maximum size (40 cm) to the necessary one (minimum 25 cm); minimum wall depth 150 mm - maximum wall depth 3 m, 2.5 m if there is a 90° bend. It is not necessary to create a condensation drain .
It is managed via the supplied remote control that allows the following functions: ON-OFF position and speed (3 options); on-board wall-mounted remote controls (not standard supply). Automatic management of flow inversion times for maximum acoustic and thermal comfort.
Installation is wall-mounted and must be carried out by expert and qualified personnel.
Thanks to this technology, the energy efficiency of the buildings we live in is improved , reducing heating and air conditioning costs , but above all it really promotes well-being and living comfort. Furthermore, the introduction of fresh air drawn from outside and appropriately filtered into the rooms, the expulsion of stale internal air and the recovery of the energy contained in the expelled air through a high-efficiency exchanger, bring great and real benefits to our health, also significantly impacting the reduction of airborne transmission of infectious forms.
