LG ducted air conditioners are designed for discreet installation and seamless integration into residential and commercial environments. The slim design maximizes space without compromising performance, making them ideal for installation in suspended ceilings or spaces with limited headroom. Because they are ducted, the air conditioner is invisible within the room. Only the air supply and return vents remain exposed, contributing to a clean, modern aesthetic.

The main difference between LG low-head and high-head ducted units is the available static pressure (ESP) , or the indoor unit's ability to push air through the ducts. The low-head system is designed for small and medium distances, ensuring uniform thermal comfort in every corner of the room; while the high-head system allows air to be pushed even through long ducts, with bends or multiple vents , making it ideal for larger spaces or more complex distributions (offices, homes, B&Bs, etc.).

LG ducted air conditioners are equipped with inverter technology, use the low environmental impact R32 refrigerant gas and are capable of energy performance up to class A++/A+.

AIR QUALITY AND WELL-BEING

The LG ducted unit features a dual-protection filter designed to improve indoor air quality. This filter captures dust particles and other airborne contaminants, helping maintain a healthier environment. The filter is easily removable, allowing for convenient cleaning even in confined spaces.

The LG ducted indoor unit offers several features designed to ensure optimal comfort and efficient management of the air-conditioned environment.

A series of functional technical features are available to ensure optimal use of the air conditioner: Cooling/Heating/Dehumidification and Ventilation operating modes for optimal seasonal comfort; fan speed control allows you to adjust the fan speed to multiple levels to adapt the airflow to your needs; programmable timer: allows you to set the unit to automatically turn on and off at specific times, optimizing energy consumption and ensuring comfort at the desired time; dual thermistor control: the internal temperature can be detected both via the sensor integrated into the unit and via the sensor in the wired remote control; this dual detection ensures more precise regulation of the room temperature. Additional programmable modes can be viewed in the user manual provided with the product.

Ducted units include a condensate drain pump for draining condensate when gravity drainage isn't possible. The ability to lift condensate up to 700 mm ensures a solution to any problem.

The prevalence of the unit's fans can be changed linearly using the wired control: it is possible to change the rotation speed of the internal unit's fan and associate the machine with ducts of various sizes.

It is also possible, in the low prevalence Standard Inverter ducted units, to choose the direction of air intake (from below or from the rear) . This flexibility facilitates installation in different configurations and environments, adapting to the structural needs of the space.

Furthermore, using suitable spiral ducts (built-in or flexible) and a flow chamber, it is possible to operate in cooling/heating mode for multiple rooms simultaneously using a single indoor unit. This function requires the appropriate optional accessory.

The noise level of the low-head ducted units has been considerably reduced, while increasing the useful static head; in fact, the sound pressure level starting from 27 dB(A) is among the lowest on the market for units of the same type, ensuring discreet operation, a quiet environment and optimised silence .

Management is via the included wired control , or with the addition of the Wi-Fi module code PWFMDD202.ENCXCOM (optional accessory to be purchased separately) , the unit can be controlled remotely via smartphone or tablet, offering the possibility of managing the settings even when you are not at home. By integrating the Wi-Fi module, the unit becomes compatible with voice assistants such as Google Home and Alexa , allowing voice control of the main functions, including on/off, temperature adjustment and selection of operating modes.

Installation and any maintenance and/or repair operations are made easy. In fact, in these cases it will not be necessary to open the entire panel since it is divided into a panel for the heat exchanger and one for the motor/fan, making access to the internal components simple and quick.

GUARANTEED SAVINGS

The external unit of the LG air conditioner always provides a power proportionate to the real air conditioning needs of the environment in which its internal unit is located, with a range from 5.0 to 8.0 kW.

Thanks to the Inverter system, the unit is able to implement correct power modulation resulting in high energy savings, excellent performance and particular attention to the environment .   It guarantees the achievement of the highest energy classes and reduces waste to a minimum . LG PREMTB001 Standard Wired Controller for LG Air Conditioning Systems

The LG PREMTB001 Standard wired control allows the management of LG air conditioning systems. The large LCD display, the blue backlighting and the elegant design make this accessory a complement that enhances the spaces. The use of the wired control allows the use of a weekly program for the management of the unit and allows the detection of the room temperature directly from the position in which it is located.
