Lowara expands the range of SCUBA electric pumps , submersible, multi-impeller pumps with excellent performance , silent , versatile , compact and highly resistant to corrosion . The SCUBA family is in fact enriched thanks to a wider range of powers and heads available , as well as a series of accessories that can be chosen to best adapt them to the most varied needs of use, be it civil, agricultural or industrial.

The model presented here is the 3SC4 / 05/5 CG with single-phase power supply with float ; its nominal power is 0.55kW (or 0.75HP), it has a flow rate range from 20 to 70 l / min (1.2 -4.2 m3 / h) and reaches a head of almost 41 m.

All the new SCUBAs are equipped with radial centrifugal impellers in technopolymer for high resistance to abrasion from sand (this model has 4); the diffusers , the external jacket and the motor casing are in AISI 304 stainless steel for the best possible resistance to corrosion. The head is in precision cast stainless steel .

In the SCUBA , the electric motor is protected from infiltrations thanks to an efficient double seal system with interposed oil chamber; at the same time, since the hydraulic part is located below the engine, the latter is continuously cooled by the pumped liquid, thus avoiding excessive overheating.

Applications

SCUBA electric pumps can be used for water supply from domestic wells, basins or tanks for first collection, 6 ”wells or Roman wells, basins and waterways; pressurization , sprinkler irrigation , rainwater collection. Furthermore, in water reuse systems, rainwater collection tanks, car wash systems and even air purification and humidification systems.

Guaranteed savings and high comfort

The SCUBAs are distinguished from other pumps on the market for their high performance in terms of head and flow rate ; at the same time they are particularly silent pumps thanks to the operation of the motor under constant pressure and variable speed.

During pressurization interventions they can be inserted directly into wells or tanks, avoiding suction and noise problems.

The pumps, which can operate both vertically and horizontally, can be submerged up to a maximum of 17 m; the pumped liquid can reach 40 ° C. They are equipped with a 20m power cable.

The single-phase version is standard equipped with both automatic reset overload protection and capacitor.

Great modularity of installation and use

The SCUBA electric pumps are equipped with an electric cable and float pre-assembled in the factory but with a removable connector for easy installation and maintenance; they have an off-center delivery sleeve and, for greater safety, they are fitted with a steel eyelet for connecting a safety rope.

The mechanical seal in silicon carbide, together with the second lubricated mechanical seal, thanks to the particular geometry of the oil chamber, guarantee maximum reliability of the pump over time.
