The aroTHERM plus high temperature heat pump is Vaillant's latest solution that offers the possibility of heating, cooling and producing domestic hot water through a single system. Designed and built in the Vaillant factories, this solution guarantees high performance in terms of energy, silence, reliability and product sustainability.
AroTHERM plus is environmentally friendly as it uses R290 natural refrigerant gas, anticipating the European F-gas directive regarding the reduction of the use of refrigerant gases harmful to the planet. Indeed, with a GWP of 3, the natural refrigerant used for the aroTHERM plus is among the least harmful gases for the climate.
Guaranteed savings and high comfort
There are many strengths of the aroTHERM plus heat pump by Vaillant: it offers maximum energy efficiency A+++ (water 35°) and A++ (water 55°), ideal both for compliance with the minimum requirements for new buildings and for use in renovations thanks to the high flow temperature (75°C system flow with 0°C outside). The high flow temperature, even in very harsh winter climatic conditions, makes it possible to guarantee high performance in heating and in the production of domestic hot water even without the use of an electric resistance or a support boiler. Therefore it works very well in the harshest climates and is able to replace even the boiler at full capacity. A perfect solution to achieve the desired comfort in the middle of winter.
Already equipped with a hydronic module for fast connection, for DHW production we recommend integration with a storage tank for greater availability in withdrawal.
The Sound Safe System ensures silent operation with sound emissions of 28 dB(A) at 3 meters in silent mode: the high-efficiency, soft-start modulating fan is mounted on a composite material support which absorbs the unit's vibrations working.
The latest generation inverter is designed to guarantee a minimum duration of 15 years. All sensitive parts are immersed in a protective resin that prevents corrosion: the evaporator is covered with a special BlueFin paint while the frame features a self-cleaning nano paint. AroTHERM plus it is, in fact, certified to be installed in coastal areas where metals are more subject to corrosion. In addition, the heat pump's condensate pan comes standard with an integrated de-icer heater, ensuring a reliable and trouble-free experience in even the harshest conditions.
The aroTHERM plus monoblock high temperature heat pump is also an eco-sustainable choice as it uses the natural refrigerant gas R-290, one of the least impactful and harmful refrigerant gases for the climate and the environment, in addition to the fact that thanks to the PV ready allows you to maximize the use of electricity generated through the integration of a photovoltaic system.
Ease of installation
The AroTHERM plus heat pump is the high temperature hydronic solution with hermetically sealed refrigerant circuit in the factory whose installation does not require F-gas certification. In fact, the aroTHERM heat pump is designed to be installed quickly and easily without the need to open the frame for the electrical and circuit connections. Furthermore, the characteristics described above, combined with the contained dimensions, make the new heat pump a suitable product both in the case of renovations and for new buildings, to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water. It adapts to flexible installations and can be combined with underfloor heating, fan coils and radiators (an inspection and verification is always recommended).
SensoCOMFORT control included
The included new sensoCOMFORT climate control unit allows you to manage the heat pump system comfortably from your smartphone using the dedicated sensoAPP app. With a modern aesthetic and refined design, it is the result of the integration of various renewable technologies. Thanks to it, it is possible to manage multiple circuits and monitor system performance and consumption without too much effort. The gateway for connection to the sensoNET internet network is included and the configuration of the system is very simple as it only requires a few steps.
