THE BOILER
Luna Duo-tec E is the famous Baxi condensing boiler, a wall mounted boiler a ideal gas for heating and, in the version presented here, also for the production of domestic hot water (DHW). The Baxi Luna Duo-tec E wall-mounted condensing boiler is ideal both for installation in new buildings and for replacing other heat generators. Easy to use and install also because (for the 24 Kw) you can use the exhaust with a diameter of 50 mm that can be ducted into the pre-existing flue columns. The model has been updated, it is now even more efficient and has a more modern and elegant line that allows it to be fully integrated into the home. It can also be installed outdoors in a place not directly exposed to hills, snow and hail, also thanks to the total electronic anti-freeze function that allows it to work up to external temperatures of -5 ° C and to the IPX5D degree of protection (protection from jets of water and dust). One of the strengths of the Luna Duo-tec E is its high efficiency and total modulation circulation pump which increases its efficiency and really contributes to reducing consumption; this circulator also has an anti-blocking system and an automatic de-aeration function which is very useful to eliminate the formation of air in the system. Among other features, the electric three-way diverter valve , the burner and the water / fumes exchanger in particularly efficient and resistant stainless steel, the oversized stainless steel sanitary exchanger to "condense" (and consume less) even during withdrawals of sanitary water. The burner, in particular, reaches the NOx6 level and allows to keep the combustion gas levels always low. The pressure switch blocks the gas in case of lack of water, the NTC probe continuously checks the overheating of the fumes and intervenes automatically when necessary.
The boiler is equipped with a comfortable and practical control panel with digital controls that allows you to easily adjust and control the various functions and operating settings. The buttons surround a large backlit LCD display that allows you to interact with the boiler in a very simple and intuitive way; the display is very bright and always allows a clear reading of the data. It can be integrated with the MAGO chronothermostat with WI-FI App for remote control (optional to be purchased separately). It is designed for the combination of an external probe (optional) and for connection to a zone system.
GUARANTEED SAVINGS AND HIGH COMFORT
Greater efficiency and lower consumption: the primary objective has been achieved; the Baxi Luna Duo-tec E condensing boiler differs from the others also for this. The modulation range reaches up to 1: 7 of the minimum deliverable power and therefore to one seventh of the maximum rated power. When the room is heated, the boiler is able to lower the flame power down to one seventh of the maximum to keep the temperature constant ; the consequences are greater efficiency , greater silence , less temperature changes and therefore greater comfort . Consumption decreases because the boiler does not need to switch off and on again, consuming a lot of gas each time it is switched on again but always maintains a minimum operating regime. It has an innovative saving system, the GAC (gas adaptive control) , which, thanks to the new control electronics and a new electronic gas valve, makes combustion control completely automatic; the system adjusts itself autonomously based on the quality of the gas and the length of the exhaust pipes and keeps the final performance unaltered, guarantees maximum efficiency, and is able to significantly reduce consumption and pollution thanks to the continuous management of emissions. The exchanger has the pre-heating function (which can be deactivated) which makes it possible to have domestic hot water always available; it is also designed to be combined with the Baxi integrated solar system which further reduces final consumption.
