ECO BIO : economy and respect for the environment. ECO BIO is the multi-fuel boiler by GIROLAMI, a leading Italian company in the production of biomass -fired boilers. ECO BIO looks like a real powerful, robust and reliable fire machine already in its appearance. Designed to be used with wood and with all types of chopped natural solid fuel such as pellets , shells , pits and grape seeds , even mixed together .
Unlike many others, the innovative technology of the ECO BIO boiler does not need to change the burner based on the fuel used, so you can decide to use your favorite fuel material from time to time in complete freedom; this obviously translates into maximum economy on the purchase price because it is not necessary to purchase additional burners and maximum economy of use . Furthermore, the great advantage of feeding fuel from the bottom of the burner absolutely differentiates it from any other pellet or biomass boiler or stove that receives fuel from above: the ashes will always be pushed upwards by the new fuel and will not go to dirty the brazier which will always contain clean fuel, therefore also cleaning and maintenance operations will be reduced to a minimum .
ECO BIO is equipped with a large fire compartment for easy use of wood, a particularly resistant thick burner for long-lasting efficiency, a heat flywheel, a 20 cm diameter fume connection for appropriate use with the complete with condensate drain and hood cleaning inspection. Nothing is left to chance: even the heating flow is placed in the upper part in order to make the most of the boiler's performance. The fuel supply engine is equipped with a chain transmission, a particular safety rotary valve has the task of continuously dosing the fuel and acts as a fire door isolating the combustion area from the tank. The doors are equipped with hermetic gaskets which perfectly insulate the combustion chamber; particular care has also been dedicated to the hooks and door closing systems, a safety switch automatically blocks boiler operation if the door is not perfectly closed. The safety flue probe constantly detects the state of combustion and blocks boiler operation in the event of a flame absence, and also constantly communicates with the particular FCS (Fuel Convert System) system which automatically recognizes the fuel used, allowing autonomous switching from the power supply with wood to that with other biomasses. ECO BIO is complete with a large tank that holds up to 90 kg of fuel and is equipped with an upper grid that filters out any foreign bodies and a practical lid with handle that can be hung sideways during biomass loading operations.
The boiler can be managed by the electronic control unit with LCD display supplied which has easy and convenient programming since it allows you to set automatic ignition, the power supplied, the different programming levels (daily - weekly - weekend - summer), the spectrum modulation and the stand-by function. The control unit is compatible with any type of room thermostat to always have real comfort in the home environment. The modern technology of the ECO BIO boiler allows it to be interfaced quickly with storage tanks and boilers, with solar systems and with other thermal sources of any type.
The complete version of the standard DOMESTIC HOT WATER KIT makes it possible to obtain an efficient production of hot water that is always available for domestic use. The DHW KIT (code 5064) is complete with circulator , flow switch , plate heat exchanger and three-way solenoid valve . It is supplied separately with the boiler and must be fitted by the technician when installing the boiler.
