THE WATER HEATER
Now everything is new and capable of giving even more comfort. The Vaillant AtmoMAG water heater has been completely renovated and is presented here in the mini version which has very small dimensions to the advantage of using the installation space. The new Vaillant AtmoMAG mini 144/1 I water heater fully complies with current European regulations on reducing NOx emissions.
AtmoMAG mini 144/1 I is the new gas instantaneous water heater with open chamber and natural draft from Vaillant. The flame ignition is electronic with battery with modulating flame, the exchanger has supral protection, the warmer is equipped with a high temperature safety sensor; the Direct Start system allows very fast ignitions, the ionization flame detection always ensures great operating safety.
As in the previous version, the Vaillant AtmoMAG mini 144/1 I water heater is equipped with the OPTI MOD system for adjusting the flame that allows you to quickly adapt the water temperature to the changing seasons.
The Direct Start System allows instant starting of the water heater without pilot flame. In traditional automatic ignition systems, start-up takes place in two stages: first the pilot flame is lit and, in a second time, the flame extends to the entire burner. The advanced burner of the Direct Start System is able to ignite directly without intermediate steps. Waiting times for ignition are reduced by 20%. Electronic ignition means real savings (about 50 Euros per year on the bill) and less limescale deposit in the coil of the exchanger.
The OPTI-MOD System is an exclusive feature of Vaillant water heaters installed on most of the new instant gas models. It is a device that allows you to customize the power of the flame of the water heater and to keep the temperature of the water at the outlet constant. The OPTI-MOD device consists of two important functions:
- OPTI: to adjust the power of the water heater flame. Values range from 50% to 100%. The MAG series, on the other hand, allows you to set 10 power stages, which can be selected manually.
- MOD: to modulate the flame according to the quantity of water in circulation and thus keep the temperature constant. The MOD function also guarantees significant energy savings as only the power required by the momentary requirement is supplied.
The stabilization of the water flow rate and temperature therefore determine a considerable comfort product and significant savings in gas and water.
Exclusive Water Group : one of the most stressed components in a water heater is undoubtedly the water group. The water group is the component of the water heater that receives the incoming water and plays an important role in ensuring the effectiveness of each water heater. In fact, the water group modulates the flow of water to be sent to the exchanger, allowing the right outlet temperature to be reached. The water group of this water heater guarantees excellent operation even with low flow rates and low water pressure. Vaillant installs a plastic water unit particularly resistant to continuous stress and corrosion on all open chamber and natural draft water heaters, guaranteeing reliability and durability over time.
The burner is now water-cooled and reduces the polluting values of nitrogen and carbon monoxide that are generated by combustion so that, offering always optimal combustion, it meets the requirements of the European Regulation 814/2013.
