The Italian genius of the Jacuzzi family gives life to its innovative projects in California: it is 1915 and the Jacuzzi Bros begins to give shape to its ideas, and from the innovative and out of the ordinary projects for the time those inventions of global reach come to life which, from then on, will revolutionize the way of living and conceiving well-being. From the newly developed propeller, adopted by the US Air Force, to the irrigation pump that meets the enthusiasm of American farmers, there is a crescendo of inventions and technological innovations aimed at improving the standard of living of people and guaranteeing a level of well-being never experienced before. But how was the iconic Jacuzzi born, the whirlpool bath par excellence, which needs no description, because the name alone defines it? The project starts with a noble invention by the youngest of the seven Jacuzzi brothers who, to alleviate the disease of their son, suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, created in 1956 the first immersion pump that synthesizes the curative effects of hydrotherapy: the J- 300. From there the step is short. The clearly beneficial nature of such an invention led, in 1968, to the refinement and reinterpretation of the original project: a bathtub with integrated jets equipped with a hydromassage system that will form the basis for every future Jacuzzi model. A constant and prodigious growth that will lead to define the Jacuzzi brand as the pride of the Italian genius.
