MUT VTD 3-way thermostatic diverter valve Ø1 45÷55°C
The MUT VTD thermostatic diverter valve is designed to be installed in domestic hot water production systems with solar cylinder and boiler , allowing the water flow to be automatically managed based on the detected temperature.
The valve functions as a three-way thermostatic device. When the domestic hot water from the solar cylinder reaches a sufficiently high temperature, the valve diverts it directly to the system. If the water temperature is lower than the setpoint, the flow is directed to the instantaneous wall-mounted boiler , which provides the necessary integration to reach the desired temperature.
This operation allows you to exploit the heat already accumulated by the solar system , even when the water temperature is not sufficient for direct use, thus helping to reduce the work required of the boiler and optimise the energy consumption of the system.
The MUT VTD 7.030.01446 , model VTD 25E , has G 1 threaded connections and a thermostatic setting between 45 and 55°C . The device intervenes based on the temperature of the incoming domestic water, automatically diverting the flow towards the system or towards the integration generator.
The valve is designed to work with a nominal pressure of PN10 , while the fluid temperature range is between 5 and 120°C . For this specific code, MUT indicates a flow coefficient Kvs equal to 1.5 m³/h .
The threaded connections are made according to the ISO 228/1 standard. The O-ring seals are made of FKM , while the internal springs are made of stainless steel .
Installation must be carried out by expert and qualified technical personnel , respecting the correct connection between the solar boiler, boiler and domestic hot water circuit and following the instructions given in the official MUT technical documentation.
