Ferrari MagBlack magnetic dirt separator with 3/4 ball valve
The Ferrari MagBlack magnetic dirt separator, code 061502, is designed to filter and separate impurities from heating systems. Installed on the system's return pipe, upstream of the circulation pump, it protects boilers, heat pumps, and other hydraulic components from sludge, ferrous residue, and solid particles that can compromise the system's proper operation.
MagBlack works by combining mechanical filtration and magnetic separation . Water passes through the filter cartridge, which traps non-ferrous impurities, while the powerful 8,000 Gauss neodymium magnet intercepts and retains metal particles in the heat transfer fluid. The unique internal configuration creates a settling zone that prevents sediment from re-entering the circuit, helping keep the system clean and efficient.
Maintenance is easy thanks to the co-current and counter-current flushing system. Removing the magnet and opening the drain plug allows you to eliminate accumulated sediment without disassembling the device; cleaning can even be performed while the system is running, reducing intervention times.
Made with nickel-plated brass fittings and ball valve and a body in fibreglass-reinforced composite material , the Ferrari MagBlack complies with the UNI 8065 standard and is compatible with systems fed by water or water-glycol mixtures up to 50%.
