With the Carrier 42QSS Ducted Air Conditioner, the indoor unit is installed in a hidden location, generally in a false ceiling, and the air is diffused into the room through a dedicated ventilation opening. Air conditioners with a ducted indoor unit offer the great advantage of air conditioning rooms without the indoor unit being visible, greatly enhancing aesthetics and allowing us to exploit the walls for our furnishings. By installing a built-in air conditioner, there is comfort but there is... no air conditioning! Carrier 42QSS Ducted Indoor Units are used together with Inverter Outdoor Units to create different single-split and multi-split combinations.
DESIGN
The Carrier 42QSS Ducted Air Conditioner allows you to unleash your creativity in the architecture of the spaces where it is installed. Its “invisible” presence leaves all the walls of the rooms free for furnishings, architectural features, and other installations. The reduced height of the 42QSS ducted indoor units ( only 200 mm ) allows them to integrate even into shallow false ceilings; their light weight makes installation easier. The Carrier 42QSS Ducted Air Conditioner is suitable for installation anywhere, from homes to commercial businesses, from offices to hotels, allowing you to feel only the comfort of a Carrier air-conditioned environment!
BREATHE CLEAN AIR
The indoor unit of the Carrier 42QSS Ducted air conditioner is equipped with an air purifying filter that can be installed either on the rear or bottom; the filter is easily removable for cleaning. This guarantees, in addition to always having clean air , flexibility of installation and ease of maintenance of the air conditioner.
PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAXATION
The Carrier 42QSS Ducted Air Conditioner quickly reaches and maintains the set temperature , without sudden changes ; it offers optimal comfort by distributing air extremely quietly and imperceptibly thanks to the hidden position of the built-in split and the aerodynamically profiled fan that allows for more uniform air flow management. Air intake can occur either from the bottom or from the rear; thanks to the pre-cutting, it is possible to provide for the introduction of clean air from the outside; the standard condensate drain pump has a head of up to 750 mm and is easy to access.
The air conditioner offers some highly technical functions such as Self-Diagnosis and Refrigerant Leak Detection . Among the features accessible via the supplied infrared remote control, the Follow Me function sets the temperature based on that detected by the sensor located in the remote control; the Sleep mode gradually lowers the set temperature before going to sleep for maximum comfort. It is also possible to set the air conditioner to Fan Only or Dehumidification ; the 24-hour Timer , Weekly Programming , and Automatic Restart in the event of a power failure are further advantages.
