Caleffi DIRTMAGSLIM under-boiler dirt separator 3/4" M x 3/4" F
The Caleffi Dirtmagslim dirt separator has the function of trapping the impurities present in the air conditioning system and guaranteeing its correct functioning and longevity. This action is allowed by the presence of an internal deflector placed on the flow path which creates a turbulent motion capable of directing the impurities into the settling chamber with minimal pressure drop inside the device; the ferrous impurities are retained without the possibility of re-entering circulation thanks to the action of two magnets inserted in a special removable ring and their discharge is carried out, even when the system is functioning, by opening the drain tap.
The Caleffi Dirtmagslim dirt separator is made of technopolymer, a specific material for applications in heating and cooling systems, which has unparalleled chemical, physical and mechanical properties, helping to guarantee the very high performance of the device.
The accumulation chamber is located in the lower part of the device and has multiple advantages including greater capacity and ease of inspection, in the latter case it will be sufficient to unscrew it from the valve body to carry out maintenance activities or in the case of obstruction caused by large impurities, simply and quickly; in fact, in this regard, this dirt separator is supplied with an operating key (in the package): one end can be used for tightening the fitting caps on the valve body, while the other end is used for opening the body valve in order to access the internal element.
Dirtmagslim Caleffi is compact and practical, ideal when the wall connections are not aligned with the boiler connections or when greater maneuvering space is needed underneath the boiler itself; it is advisable that the connections are made with flexible stainless steel pipes.
The installation must be carried out by expert and qualified technical personnel. Further information on correct installation and maintenance methods is contained in the user manual supplied with the product.
