Caleffi Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator Ø1 1/4" F
The Caleffi Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator has the function of continuously eliminating the air and impurities contained in the hydraulic circuits of air conditioning systems. This device is capable of eliminating all the air present in the circuits, down to the microbubble level, and at the same time collects the impurities in the lower part of the valve body, from which they can be discharged.
The shape of the Caleffi Discaldirt allows maintenance and cleaning operations to be carried out without removing the device from the system. The automatic air vent valve of the deaerator-dirt separator, located on the top of the device, is equipped with a long chamber for the movement of the float; to clean the entire air vent system, simply unscrew the upper bell. To check the internal element of the threaded deaerator and dirt separator, simply unscrew the large sludge accumulation chamber, to which the internal element is fixed so that it can be removed for cleaning. The accumulation chamber is equipped with a shut-off valve equipped with a hose holder with cap.
The Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator optimizes the efficiency of the systems as the circulation of completely deaerated water eliminates the problems of noise, corrosion, localized overheating and mechanical damage. This version is also available with shell insulation, preformed hot, to guarantee perfect thermal insulation both when used with hot and chilled water (available on Climamarket code CBN546007).
The Caleffi Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator should preferably be installed after the boiler, on the suction side of the pump, as there are the points where there is the greatest formation of microbubbles and in a vertical position. The installation must be carried out by expert and qualified technical personnel; further information regarding installation methods and technical specifications can be found in the user manual supplied with the product.
