The internal unit of the Clivet ductable air conditioner DUCT 2 is mounted in a hidden position, generally in a false ceiling and the air is diffused into the room through a special ventilation opening. The advantages of ductable air conditioners consist in particular of the possibility of air conditioning the rooms without the internal unit being visible, to the full advantage of aesthetics and the possibility of using the walls for our furnishings. It follows that, with the installation of a built-in air conditioner, there is well-being but there is not ... the air conditioner. This indoor unit is used together with inverter outdoor units to create combinations of multi-split and light commercial air conditioners.

DESIGN

The Clivet ductable DUCT 2 Inverter built-in air conditioner allows you to use the maximum imagination to the architecture of the environments where it is installed. Its "invisible" presence makes it possible to air-condition the rooms easily thanks also to the small size of the internal units which have a particularly slim and compact structure and which integrate perfectly into the most unlikely places in the room. Suitable for installation anywhere: in homes, commercial activities, offices and hotel environments.

BREATHE CLEAN AIR

With the air intake, the internal unit is able to draw clean air from the outside which, passing by the machine, allows the renewal of the latter in the environment.

PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAX

The ductable Clivet DUCT 2 air conditioner, quickly reaches and always maintains the set temperature constant, without sudden changes; it offers optimal comfort as it distributes the air extremely silently and in a truly imperceptible way thanks also to the hidden position of the built-in split. With the automatic regulation of the constant air flow , the fan adapts the power of the air flow in order to adequately air-condition each room both in the presence of short and long pipes. It has many additional functions and features. With the incredible number of 12 ventilation speeds, the regulation of the air flow in the room can be personalized in order to always offer the greatest comfort; in heating, the Anti Cold Air function delays the start of the fan until the internal coil is not hot enough and the Temperature Compensation helps to always detect the real room temperature even if the sensor that detects it is at a different height than that of the guests of the environment. Furthermore, with the Follow Me function, the temperature can be detected by a sensor placed in the remote control which allows us to adjust the general functions of our air conditioner. The Sleep function for night-time operation reduces noise and sets the balance of the automatic night-time temperature curves. In the event of a blackout, the Auto Restart system resets all the settings in use at the time of the power cut; the Timer allows the programming of automatic switching on and off. There are also a series of particularly technical functions such as the Refrigerant Loss Alarm, Self-diagnosis and also the Remote Alarm Port function which communicates any malfunctions. Last but not least, the SPLIT VRF function, which allows the cycle inversion, in which all indoor units work in heating or cooling mode depending on the season, guaranteeing the possibility of acting on the internal temperature control for each individual room and on the fan speed. This indoor unit is already equipped with the condensate drain pump integrated in the chassis. There is also a contact for switching on/off from an external device.

THE OUTDOOR UNIT

The MC3-Y outdoor units for Clivet monosplit air conditioners from the Light Commercial range have Inverter and Heat Pump technology and represent the beating heart of the air conditioner. The entire range boasts excellent performance, simplicity and flexibility in installation, a wide operating range in both cooling and heating. The MC3-Y outdoor units work with the innovative R32 gas, a friend of nature and of the consumer because it has a low environmental impact and is more performing and economical than its predecessors.

Monosplit outdoor units allow you to connect a single indoor unit and in association with it are generally used to air-condition a single room.

The outdoor unit presented here has a nominal power of 5.3 kW (in cooling).

The monosplit outdoor unit for Clivet air conditioners in the Light Commercial range has been designed to always supply the power necessary for the actual air conditioning needs of the environment in which its indoor unit is located. It offers consistently high performance and together with the internal unit contributes to the creation of the great comfort that distinguishes Clivet products. It works excellently both in cooling in summer use of the air conditioner and in heating in winter use. Thanks to its DC Inverter system it allows great energy savings and real attention to the environment.   Reaches the best   energy classes up to Class A++ for which it has always particularly low electricity consumption. The variable speed compressor adjusts operation to the actual heat load request of the indoor unit, helps to further reduce consumption and keeps the temperature constant without sudden changes; it is also very quiet, allowing you to respect your own sleep and that of the neighbours. The heat pump allows you to use the air conditioner both in summer for cooling and during winter for heating. The fan of this outdoor unit adjusts its operation between 7 speed levels to help save energy; it is equipped with an Emergency function which also allows operation in emergency mode from malfunctions; the Auto Defrost device prevents the formation of ice on the evaporator. Thanks to the special precautions adopted, the external unit guarantees the correct functioning of the air conditioner even with very cold external temperatures.

For its operation, the Clivet MC3-Y monosplit air conditioner compressor uses R32 gas which has a very low environmental impact and therefore contributes considerably to respect for the environment and reduces energy consumption to the full advantage of bill spending.

The body is equipped with a particular anti-corrosion coating which protects it in a particular way from bad weather, atmospheric agents and saltiness. This outdoor unit can be fixed both in a suspended position and placed on the floor thanks to the supports that can be purchased separately.
