FAR safety valve for solar systems 1/2” 8 bar
The FAR safety valve is to be installed on the circuits of solar systems and more generally on water systems with pressurized fluids. By discharging part of the fluid used into the atmosphere when the set pressure is reached, it prevents the pressure inside the system from growing beyond the permitted limits, playing a fundamental role for the correct functioning of a solar system. It is therefore advisable to install a safety valve and an expansion tank on the circuit that feeds the solar panels; it can also be used to protect the solar domestic hot water storage.
The safety valves must be installed close to the hot water storage tank and there must be no shut-off device between the valve and the storage tank.
Brass body with chromed finish, made up of brass rod, EPDM gasket and diaphragm resistant to high temperatures, steel spring and nylon handwheel.
