The Omnia M 3.2 14T heat pump is Ferroli 's newest gem, perfectly meeting all winter and summer air conditioning needs, as well as domestic hot water production. Designed to facilitate simple and intuitive routine management, it's easy to constantly monitor settings and energy expenditure. The 14.5 kW three-phase version offered here features a standard built-in electric resistance.
This 14.5 kW heat pump is a monobloc , three-phase , equipped with inverter technology and environmentally friendly thanks to the use of low environmental impact R32 gas ; capable of excellent performance, it reaches energy class A++ for the production of water at 55ºC and A+++ for water produced at 35°C, taking air from the outside and using it as the only source of energy for heat production, avoiding the use of any type of fuel, requiring only a minimal energy contribution.
The unit is characterised by the use of a DC inverter compressor which allows the power output to be modulated and is complete with a hydronic kit consisting of all the essential components for quick and safe outdoor installation.
TECHNOLOGY, COMFORT AND SAVINGS
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 14T heat pump is highly efficient and, being able to produce water up to 60°C, can be easily combined with low-temperature systems (fan coils, radiators, underfloor heating) and used for the indirect production of domestic hot water (DHW) using an external boiler (purchased separately ). In addition to high energy efficiency, these units are also characterized by low noise levels, allowing them to be used as a sole generator serving the system or integrated with other energy sources such as auxiliary electric resistors or boilers. Equipped as standard with a boiler water temperature probe and an external air temperature probe for climate control in both heating and cooling modes.
Both the refrigerant and hydraulic circuits are contained within the unit for ease of maintenance. The first circuit features a twin rotary compressor with a DC Inverter motor that ensures reduced vibration and greater dynamic balance. Completing the unit are a brazed stainless steel PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER complete with antifreeze heater and axial FANS with brushless DC motors complete with safety grilles. The second circuit is equipped with a low-consumption CIRCULATOR with brushless DC motor, water flow switch, automatic air vent, water pressure gauge, expansion vessel, safety valve, and Y-shaped water filter . The unit is equipped with variable speed fan control that allows for seasonal adjustment in harsh climate conditions, and the hydraulic pipes are also thermally insulated to prevent condensation and heat loss.
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump offers many innovative and practical functions that make it one of the most functional and multitasking products available. For example, HEATING/COOLING works by modulating the compressor frequency to maintain the produced water temperature at the setpoint; FAST ACS, which can be activated manually, allows you to prioritize domestic hot water by bringing the DHW boiler to the setpoint in the shortest possible time; ANTI-LEGIONELLA FUNCTION can be set in weekly cycles, in which case integration with an electric resistance for the DHW boiler or boiler is required; SILENT MODE (2 levels) which reduces both the noise of the machine and energy consumption in settable time slots (for example, at night); ON/OFF , in this case the unit can be activated and deactivated via an external contact and managed via a controller; HOT/COLD involves activating or deactivating cold mode and hot mode via 2 external contacts (e.g. zone thermostat that manages the heat and cold request / remote switch); ECO gives you the option of defining time slots and the related setpoints for ECO modes in hot and cold mode; FROST PROTECTION guaranteed down to an outside air temperature of -20°C thanks to the heat pump itself operating in hot mode, the antifreeze electric resistance (standard) and the electric booster (if installed).
Furthermore: it is possible to manage an eventual integration and/or reserve electric resistance and for the anti-legionella function; the unit activates in heating mode to maintain the temperature of a DHW boiler at the set point value; a 3-way diverter valve (not supplied) and a temperature probe (probe supplied) are required to be inserted into a well of the DHW boiler; 2 digital inputs on the PCB with specific operating logics allow for the management of a photovoltaic system and an input from the electrical grid (SMART GRID "intelligent grid" function) and also MANAGEMENT OF UP TO 2 ZONES (1 MIXED AND 1 DIRECT), because the unit is able to manage the pumps (not supplied) of both zones, instead for the mixed zone only, the mixing valve (not supplied) and the water delivery temperature probe (available as an accessory). MODULARITY AND FLEXIBILITY OF INSTALLATION
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 14T heat pump, being a monoblock unit, has significantly reduced installation costs and times and, in addition, the device includes all the hydraulic elements necessary for a correct and rapid connection to the system and to the DHW.
The unit allows for the use of additional energy sources such as a boiler or electric resistance that can be activated to replace or supplement the heat pump when the system serves the heating system or for the production of domestic hot water; the additional operation is intelligent , so the sources will activate automatically in the event of the heat pump failing.
Cascade management of up to 6 units (of which 1 Master and 5 Slaves, even with different power ratings) has also been planned and made possible by means of a single controller connected to the Master unit and with constant cascade operation even in the event of an anomaly in a Slave unit.
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 14T heat pump can be managed via wired control (supplied) and via an App available for both iOS and Android.
External installation must be carried out by qualified and authorised technical personnel.
