The ART-U 10 fan coil units are available in a wide variety of configurations and colours: Natural Grey, White RAL9010, Red RAL3020 and Black RAL9005.

Design and innovation

The ART-U Red fan coil unit makes the heart of design beat faster. The red color gives it boldness, character, unmistakable style. It is the furnishing element with high air conditioning performance, which takes center stage in the most refined environments.

The ART-U fan coil unit is a product of impeccable construction quality and technical performance and of great appeal to the world of interior architecture, meeting for the first time the most current trends in furniture and interior design. The goal achieved is absolutely ambitious: the ART-U fan coil unit is a new concept of fan coil unit with very small dimensions that is configured as a platform with which it is possible to interact through customizations by the interior architect. The fan coil unit stands out for its modern line and very small dimensions (its depth in some points reaches only 10 cm) and strong of its unique lines, it was designed to be the absolutely transversal fan coil unit, which adapts perfectly both to rigorous and essential environments and to warmer and more sophisticated spaces, proving to be an advanced product, simple but at the same time elegant. The evolution of the Galletti fan coil unit has received important international design awards such as; the archiproducts design awards and the reddot winner.

The design has a completely new air, the Galletti Art-U fan coil units show their potential through a harmony in the composition of the various elements that form the fan coil.

-The elegant front panel of the fan coil unit is made of two sheets of aluminum with a polyethylene core and possible polyester-based surface painting. It is a lightweight but very resistant material, created for facade cladding in the building sector. The side panels are made of UV-stabilized ABS to keep the color unchanged over time. The polyethylene core acts as a flexible filling and thermal insulation while the aluminum provides structure and aesthetics;

-The BLDC electric motor of the inverter permanent magnet fan coil integrated in the ventilation group. The IP44 protection level is guaranteed, therefore dust cannot get inside and resistance to water splashes is guaranteed. The manufacturer's certification makes it suitable for use even in outdoor environments;

-The heat exchange batteries of the fan coil Turbolenzata high efficiency in copper pipe and aluminum fins, and equipped with brass manifolds and vent valve. The fins are applied as standard with a hydrophilic treatment, to increase their cooling efficiency and at the same time a greater resistance to aggressive atmospheres;

-The regenerable air filter of the fan coil is made of honeycomb polypropylene, easily removable for maintenance operations;

-The upper grille of the fan coil unit is made up of adjustable anodized aluminum fins, available in the on-board or wall-mounted control version. The ABS combs, supporting the grilles, prevent them from bending, always guaranteeing the safety of the user;

-The front grille of the fan coil is designed to stabilize the operation of the tangential fan. It is supplied with a stainless steel metal filter;

-The fan coil unit's tangential fan is statically and dynamically balanced to reduce noise during operation. The plastic material used for the blades guarantees, compared to metal fans, a reduction in vibrations and the absence of bending along the rotation axis. The blades are spaced out by intermediate reinforcement discs to increase their strength.

-The high-density polystyrene ABS conveyors are designed to optimize the air flow inside the hydronic terminal, allowing for optimal distribution of the air flow in the battery and silence at all operating modes.

High performance and comfort

During the design phase of the fan coil, everything was focused on improving performance, especially improving the efficiency of the fan coil with consequent reduction of absorbed energy and noise emissions. The sound power of the ART-U fan coil at the minimum operating voltage of its inverter never exceeds 32 dB(A), allowing the fan coil to be used even in residential environments or hospitality facilities. In fact, one of the pluses of the ART-U fan coil is its silence, an essential requirement for installation in bedrooms where it is recommended not to exceed the sound power of 40 dB(A) to avoid disturbing sleep.

The study of the air flow field has allowed the reduction of fluid recirculation downstream of the fan, avoiding unwanted pressure drops inside the fan coil. The research has also focused on improving the air distribution along the longitudinal axis of the fan.

Environmental comfort is guaranteed effectively and intuitively by the control software developed by Galletti. The control of air temperature and humidity is rapid and precise through the use of advanced microprocessor controls ( code EYMCLE1 to be purchased separately ) that allow immediate interaction with the ART-U fan coil unit.
