DESIGN
The design of this thermocooker is decidedly contemporary, enhanced by the contrast of opposite shades, black for the frame and hob and saxum for the covering. Overall, everything is enhanced by brass -colored details such as the practical front handrail and the ergonomic handles in micro-cast steel. A beautiful article that with its presence furnishes the kitchen and becomes the heart of the house ; the view of the fire through the ceramic glass of the combustion chamber also creates an always particular and pleasant atmosphere, making the kitchen the focal point of the environment, a furnishing accessory capable of attracting and bringing together.

The Klover STORICA K-KP thermocooker is not only beauty and taste but above all functionality, practicality and economy. STORICA K-KP is a real wood-fired boiler and has a notable fire capacity which allows it to have a nominal thermal power of 14.3 kW ; Since it is a thermocooker, it is a multitasking product that heats water, therefore connected to the home heating system it is able to provide heat to the entire house but it can also be connected to the water system to provide domestic hot water . Furthermore, it has a stain-resistant enamelled cast iron hob in the upper part which allows you to cook using traditional pans, and in the front part, next to the combustion chamber, there is also the oven with which you can cook food using the heat natural wood.
Functional, practical and beautiful, it is equipped with an upper body which on the left side has a splendid lid which hides the inspection compartment and acts as a support shelf, while on the right side there is the large enamelled cast iron cooking plate complete with removable cover with concentric circles for inspection and internal cleaning; always in the upper part there are the ignition and oven adjustment lever, the entrance for the smoke exhaust pipe and the handle for the smoke adjustment. On the front, a beautiful brass handle which also acts as a protective element. The integrated electronic control unit with illuminated display allows you to manage the functions related to the heating system and the circulator and temperature settings, and under the control unit there is the door that hides the hydraulic connections compartment. In the central part, the combustion chamber is equipped with a door featuring highly resistant ceramic glass up to a temperature of 850°C with an air intake that keeps the glass clean; It is complete with a practical grill raising lever. Under the combustion chamber, the ash drawer which incorporates the combustion air inlet adjustment. Further to the right, a splendid stainless steel oven always at a temperature that easily reaches 280°C and is equipped with an external analogue thermometer and internal light. Under the oven, a practical and useful warming drawer . As well as being beautiful, the structure is exceptionally robust because it is made of steel and very well insulated thanks to the use of a particular insulation, therefore it is just like the kitchen of the past but with modern technology.
The real technology is there but you can't see it. The
STORICA K-KP thermocooker is part of the range of products that use the
Sicuro top system which also allows it to be installed in a pre-existing system with a boiler which is normally equipped with a closed expansion vessel; using the "bain-marie" principle, therefore without the need to use external exchangers or an open vessel, the
Sicuro top system guarantees total safety in all conditions of use, the pressure in the boiler body is equal to zero and there are no risks of water boiling even in the absence of electricity, condensation phenomena are eliminated. There are two
stainless steel exchangers: the primary one for the heating circuit is managed by the circulator while the secondary one for the DHW circuit is directly connected to the DHW circuit. This thermocooker is
designed to always offer maximum efficiency because, except for the front part occupied by the door and the upper part which must give heat to the hob, the boiler body is of the water chamber type with the combustion chamber integrally surrounded by water that must receive the heat; furthermore,
the fumes also give up their heat to the thermocooker since before being expelled they have to go through a path which requires a double turn and creates further heating of both the cooking plate and the oven. The
wiring covered in anti-wear and anti-cut fiberglass has a particular resistance to high temperatures, practically eternal! The
STORICA K-KP thermocooker is complete with the
boiler control system which sends the combined gas boiler into stand-by if present in the heating circuit when the circulator starts, so there will not be two boilers operating on the same circuit. But it is also complete with the
3-way valve control on the DHW circuit which closes automatically if it is not able to satisfy a significant demand for domestic water and the
DHW function which, if set, allows all the heat produced to be transferred to the domestic water. Thanks to a
latest generation electronic card, operation is totally automatic but above all particularly efficient and safe.
The circulator is standard and is electronic. Wood consumption is always low and hot water production is always high for both heating and sanitary purposes because the exchanger is placed at the point where the boiler body is hottest. This therefore results in a
yield of over 70%, at the top of the category. The electrical consumption of the circulator is monitored by the front
electronic control unit equipped with on/off switch, water temperature thermometer, pump thermostat, valve thermostat, auxiliary thermostat, overtemperature alarm.
Its notable versatility is also due to the
ease of installation, thanks to the hydraulic connections that allow the connection both at the rear by placing it against a wall, and at the bottom on the floor for those who prefer free installation in the center of the room, keeping in mind that the entire equipment the hydraulic components for connection to the heating and domestic hot water circuits are
included as standard.
