BREATHE CLEAN AIR
The Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-AY air conditioner of the PLUS line is equipped with a Quad Plus Plasma Filter , an active filtration system capable of inhibiting up to 99% of viruses, bacteria, molds and PM2.5 present in the air, up to 98% of allergens and pollen and up to 99.7% of mites and dust. The PLASMA QUAD filter works as an electrical barrier capable of capturing and neutralizing microscopic particles in suspension: by forming a high-potential electric field and subsequently discharging it, this air filtration system captures and inactivates viruses and removes pollutants that pass through it. The PLASMA QUAD air filtration system is tested against viral activation of SARS-CoV-2 . The tests were conducted at the Microbial Testing laboratory Kobe Testing Center of the QTEC – Japan Textile products Quality and Technology Center.
With the indoor unit of the MSZ-AY air conditioner, Mitsubishi Electric introduces another revolutionary technology: Dual Barrier Coating. During operation, the dust and impurities introduced during the air conditioning operations are deposited on the internal components, especially the battery and fan, increasing the machine's consumption by up to 18%. With Dual Barrier Coating the internal components of MSZ-AY are treated with a second protective layer which prevents the deposit of dust and impurities even after long periods of time, reducing consumption and eliminating the need for unit maintenance.

The indoor unit of the Mitsubishi MSZ-AY air conditioner is equipped with a new installation template . The new template has a large central hole which makes installation easier especially in the presence of predisposition boxes.

A series of features enrich these air conditioners: by activating the Night Mode function from the remote control it is possible to prepare the air conditioner for night-time operation: LED brightness reduction, beep sound deactivation, reduction of 3dB(A) sound emission of the outdoor unit; with the On/Off Timer you can program automatic switching on and off with one-hour intervals; weekly programming is also possible.; the I-Save function allows you to recall all the pre-set favorite functions by simply pressing a button; with the Auto Restart system, the air conditioner restarts automatically in the event of an accidental power cut.

The MITSUBISHI MXZ-F outdoor units for multi-split air conditioners are equipped with DC Inverter and Heat Pump technology.
The MXZ-F is a truly versatile series of outdoor units offering the possibility of connection to most of the indoor units of the MITSUBISHI Residential and Commercial lines. The one presented here allows you to connect and power two or three internal units of the brand, even of different models and powers; the internal units will always operate independently and each will be equipped with its own control.
