Pair of original replacement cartridges for the IVAR POLIFEMO polyphosphate and silicate dispenser (Polifemo code 520151).

Each cartridge consists of a 100 micron mesh polypropylene filter and a charge of slow-release spherical polyphosphates and silicates. They are easily replaced thanks to the assembly and disassembly key supplied with the dispenser. Each cartridge has an estimated duration of approximately 4 months considering connecting the polyphosphate dispenser to a boiler that delivers hot water at 42°C and which is used by a family of 4 people (consumption of 250 l water/day).

The use of polyphosphates to prevent limescale gives good results on medium or hard water, up to 30°f.
