Toshiba 's Japanese ingenuity expands the family of residential air conditioners with the evolution of the SHORAI R32 range: the new SHORAI Edge .
SHORAI Edge is a concentrate of technology, functional evolution and renewed design that will not go unnoticed in the air conditioning panorama: starting from the double energy class A+++ (sizes 7,000, 9,000 and 12,000 BTU monosplit), passing through the versatility of the range (with 7 different sizes ) and absolute silence, both for the internal and external units, SHORAI Edge is able to offer optimal comfort in every situation and flexibility of use , thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi module as standard , with few rivals on the market!
The internal units of the SHORAI Edge line are used together with the external Inverter units to create combinations of monosplit and multisplit air conditioners in the range.
DESIGN
SHORAI Edge comes with a renewed design compared to its predecessor: the lines are squared like the edges, the finishes are matte . Overall a very attractive look that will fit elegantly into any type of environment and decor.
As with the SHORAI R32, the LEDs on the front change color based on use, blue if used in cooling, red if used in heating. Furthermore, they are equipped with "invisible" arrangements for connecting the pipes so the installation operations will be easier and faster.
BREATHE CLEAN AIR
The internal unit houses a heat exchange coil which is particular because it is made of aluminum and covered with a protective layer, the Toshiba Magic Coil , which prevents the deposit of dust on the surface. The unit is also self-cleaning : after switching off, the fan continues to operate for up to thirty minutes to dry the heat exchange coil and eliminate any residual humidity still present.
The Ultra Pure Filter manages to filter up to 94% of PM2.5 polluting particles, returning truly healthier air to the environment. Thanks to the use of silver ions and enzymes extracted from kimchi, Ultra Pure technology is able to inhibit the activity of viruses and bacteria . As a result, it has a deodorizing effect, freshens the air and helps ensure better comfort.
PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAXATION
The new TOSHIBA SHORAI Edge is equipped with a series of functions that will make the room climate truly comfortable in every situation. The ECO , QUIET and COMFORT-SLEEP functions allow you to reduce the operating power and perceived Decibels, obtaining a perfect climate and high energy savings even during the night. The FAN button allows you to set up to 5 different fan speeds in addition to the convenient AUTO function; the HI-POWER function allows you to obtain a faster cooling or heating action.
The SHORAI Edge are equipped, in cooling mode, with the innovative HADA CARE function which allows you to adjust the position of the fins in order to generate an indirect flow and better air distribution while protecting the skin's natural hydration level . In heating mode, the FIREPLACE function allows for better heat distribution; with the Antifreeze function at 8°C , which can also be set manually in harsher conditions, the air conditioner will be protected from freezing. The 18000, 22000 and 24000 BTU sizes, usually used in particularly large environments, have the 3D function which, thanks to the independent operation of the fins and six different settable deliveries, allows an even more uniform distribution of the air, thus offering great comfort even in larger environments.
The SHORAI Edge can be programmed both daily and weekly thanks to the convenient timer they are equipped with; maximum versatility and ease of use is ensured by the standard Wi-Fi module which allows you to control them remotely thanks to the Toshiba Home AC Control App .
SHORAI Edge retains the last user settings after assured automatic restart, such as self-diagnosis, even after electrical blackouts.
The silence is absolute: 28 dB(A) at low ventilation speed for this size, little more than the rustling of leaves, to provide a relaxing climate even for the most demanding users.
The remote control, also equipped with a wall support, is compact and has clear and ergonomic retractable controls; easy to use even for the less experienced user or for elderly people.
