Samsung's WindFree range of air conditioners is the one that brought to the market the revolutionary "still air" air conditioning and smart interaction with the user thanks to units equipped with motion sensors, Artificial Intelligence, and which respond to voice commands for activate or deactivate their functions.
The WindFree system represents the revolution and the future of air conditioning. With WindFree, Samsung has created the system that air-conditions the rooms while avoiding the user's perception of the direct air flow. In fact, the Windfree Elite air conditioner diffuses the air like no other because the internal unit has a micro-perforated front panel from which the conditioned air diffuses into the environment in a natural and absolutely imperceptible way through 21,000 micro-holes . WindFree internal units are particularly elegant, true design objects; the many additional functions make it possible to radically transform the climate of the rooms, offering a unique pleasure.
With its intelligent technology, the WindFree system also contributes to reducing the consumption of outdoor units. The operation of the indoor unit takes place in two phases: when switched on, it allows the temperature to be reached rapidly thanks to the Fast Cooling mode which uses the classic air diffusion fin; when the set temperature is reached, the flap closes automatically and the temperature is kept constant in the room through the diffusion of the conditioning through the micro-holes. The Samsung WindFree ELITE wall-mounted air conditioner has soft and elegant shapes : the edges are rounded, the micro-perforated front panel envelops the unit with refinement and lightness, the large black display stands out shiny on the right; the compact dimensions give it an even greater lightness which makes installation and maintenance operations simpler . The delivery vent, more inclined than traditional models and a larger fan ensure that the air is cooled and introduced into the environment faster, more uniformly and more powerfully, to reach every corner of the room.
BREATHE CLEAN AIR
The Samsung WindFree ELITE air conditioner is equipped with the Easy Filter+ air filter which retains all the dust present, returning clean air; the filter is very easy to extract for periodic cleaning which is carried out in a practical and fast way. The additional triple action Tri-Care antibacterial filter, which removes the most common harmful agents , allows to reduce the presence of viruses , bacteria, allergens and free radicals in the domestic environment. The latter should not be washed; Samsung recommends its replacement every three years. Thanks to the Auto Clean function, the internal unit cleans itself by eliminating mould, bacteria and bad smells with a simple touch on the remote control.
PERFECT CLIMATE AND RELAX
The functions of the WindFree ELITE internal units are of the latest generation for unparalleled comfort! All WindFree indoor units are equipped with 2 Step Cooling function which allows the desired temperature to be reached in a very short time : in the first phase of operation, the air is rapidly cooled or heated thanks to the larger fan and the open air vent, once the desired temperature is reached, the vent closes activating the WindFree system that diffuses the air gently (at only 0.15 m/s speed!) through the micro-holes.
Samsung WindFree ELITE air conditioners were conceived as thinking machines thanks to the Artificial Intelligence function which "studying" the user's behavior recognizes it by adapting to his habits; simply by touching the appropriate button on the remote control, the air conditioner will set the most suitable operating parameters in all circumstances.
Another great innovation is the integration with the most modern voice recognition systems such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby: it will therefore be possible to "talk" to the air conditioner to turn it on, off or change any setting.
And that's not all... with the Motion Detection Sensor (MDS), the Samsung WindFree ELITE air conditioner is able to activate or deactivate by detecting the presence of users in the room and thus allowing greater energy savings. Among the functions that can be set, we find the Good Sleep function which will make your sleep peaceful thanks to the air conditioner's ability to regulate the temperature based on your body temperature . Also, with the dehumidification function, your relaxation will be perfect, fighting the heat of the hottest months. The Auto Change Over automatically sets the heating or cooling mode according to the set temperature.
WindFree ELITE air conditioners are extremely silent : only 16 dB(A) at low fan speed, just over a breath!
The new SolarCell Remote does not require disposable batteries because it is recharged by exposing it to direct sunlight or artificial light. Thanks to the integrated solar panel and its particular technology, the waste of 10 batteries is avoided over the life cycle of the product but it can also be recharged via USB if necessary.
The remote control has a slim and light design which combined with the OLED display and intuitive buttons make it very easy to use.

THE OUTDOOR UNIT
In 2020 Samsung updated the range of FJM ( Free Joint Multi ) outdoor units with the T Series : these outdoor units for multi-split air conditioners use R32 gas with low environmental impact, a compressor with Digital Inverter technology and the heat pump , the real beating heart of the air conditioner.
Multisplit air conditioners offer the great advantage of air conditioning several rooms using a single outdoor unit and one indoor unit for each room ; they are particularly recommended where there is little space for the installation of several outdoor units or when you want to reduce the visual impact of this component of the air conditioner on the facade of the building unit to be air-conditioned. The 10 kW outdoor unit presented here allows you to connect and power up to five Samsung indoor units of any Series, even of different powers; the indoor units will always operate independently and each will have its own control.
