The E-MXPM 404-PCD electric pump from the Calpeda e-idos line is a multi-impeller pressurisation system with integrated electronic pressure sensor . We are talking about a plug and play solution (just insert the plug into the electrical socket and operate the product via a start button), equipped with an integrated non-return valve in the suction, pressure transducer and LCD display for viewing information, parameters and for product programming.
MULTIPELLER ELECTRIC PUMP, TECHNOLOGICAL AND EFFICIENT
The Calpeda E-MXPM 404-PCD multistage pump It presents itself as a pump with compact dimensions complete with integrated pressure transducer which automatically controls the starting of the pump when the outlets are opened and the stopping when closing with an integrated non-return valve on the suction. The pressure transducer is essential in order to guarantee correct monitoring of the pump and optimize its performance. Equipped with programmable logic, thanks to the analogue sensor, the product allows the programming of the restart pressure, in this case the need for an expansion vessel is reduced or even eliminated.
This pump is equipped with a high-efficiency single-phase asynchronous motor and has technical advantages that significantly affect the quality of performance: capacitor less stressed in voltage; lower and uniform engine temperature; engine power control; choice of restart pressure; choice of stop pressure; no load loss due to measuring devices; voltage and current control and control of the maximum inrush current value. It also presents a series of monitoring functions that allow dynamic control of the parameters : against dry running, overload and overtemperature of the motor, blocking of the electric pump and also control of the electrical power supply and excessive starting times, which prevent the pump from experiences sudden and persistent anomalies and/or overloads. For correct operation, in any case, it is always advisable to observe some precautions that limit the limits of use, such as: liquid temperature from 0 °C up to + 50 °C, ambient temperature up to 40 °C and maximum allowable pressure in the pump body 8 bar.
The Calpeda E-MXP series is truly a revolution in the world of electric pumps aimed at water supply, for domestic use, gardening and irrigation, combining three fundamental needs: efficiency, savings and eco-sustainability. The efficiency of the pump was partly addressed by highlighting the performance profile and the high quality components to guarantee unrivaled comfort in water supply, but not only that, the high efficiency motor allows for savings of 24% compared to a traditional pump; therefore energy saving and consequent environmental protection also from the point of view of the materials used for construction which correspond to half of those needed in traditional pumps, giving this fact a strong ecological and environmentalist footprint to the product.
This electric pump can also be mounted in parallel and therefore create a pressurization unit with two pumps.
In case of wear, E-MXP Calpeda can be disassembled and reassembled with extreme ease like a traditional pump, in fact its structure has been designed to facilitate and speed up maintenance operations. The installation must be carried out by expert technical personnel and before starting, consult the instruction manual which contains the necessary information regarding the installation methods as well as further specifications relating to the technical, operating and programming characteristics.
