The Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC air-water heat pump is the latest model of the leading Venetian company in the air conditioning sector thanks to its thirty years of experience and an alliance with the Midea group which has made it capable of offering a even wider range of solutions for all residential, commercial and industrial conditioning needs.
The new series of Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC air-to-water heat pumps is of the monoblock type; a single space-saving component for outdoor installation that performs all functions: heats, cools and produces domestic hot water . This new Clivet heat pump model is even single-fan up to the 16 kW size, therefore lighter, simpler to install and with truly reduced overall dimensions .
The Clivet dge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pump has many strengths: designed to offer excellent yields in the harshest climates , it is capable of producing hot water even in winters down to -25°C; allows distribution at high temperatures, producing water up to 65°C; it is equipped with advanced connectivity which also allows it to be managed remotely via App or Modbus as standard, it can be combined in cascade up to 6 units offering powers up to 180 kW.
The model presented here is the one with a three-phase 12 kW nominal power, ideal for units up to 120 m2.
GUARANTEED SAVINGS AND HIGH COMFORT
The energy efficiency of the Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pumps is very high, with a consequent significant reduction in consumption and energy classes up to A+++ when used with low temperature systems.
In these machines, everything is oriented towards absolute quality ; the choice of materials combined with the construction care guarantee the best efficiency and maximum durability over time. The Twin Rotary compressors use Full DC Inverter technology which modulates speed and power according to the real needs of the environment and of the moment; they also modulate the water flow rate based on the load and pressure drop of the system, guaranteeing maximum comfort for the user, faster start-ups and reduction of On/Off cycles. The coil with internally grooved copper pipes and aluminum fins is of the hydrophilic type , i.e. treated to facilitate water discharge, prevent it from freezing and increase the component's resistance to corrosion. The electronic thermostatic valve optimizes compressor operation by adapting quickly and precisely to the actual thermal requirements. The structure, the base and the paneling are in galvanized steel sheet painted with a particular epoxy powder treatment for high resistance to corrosion. Clivet has even optimized the profile of the fans to increase their efficiency and silence. The heat pump has an integrated hydronic module consisting of a DC circulator, expansion tank and flow switch. The built-in temperature sensor for thermostat functionality, as standard, allows you to set 16 climatic curves for climatic compensation.
Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pumps guarantee maximum performance , both in cooling with an external temperature of up to +46°C and in heating with performance at 80% with an external temperature of -7°C; they are also able to produce domestic hot water with external temperatures down to -25°C. It is also possible to integrate them with an electric resistance for maximum efficiency even in the most extreme conditions.
The Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC air-to-water heat pump is equipped with R32 gas , the most ecological on the market with a Global Warming Potential (GPW) 70% lower than R-410A, which also ensures better performance and heat exchange .
Minimal vibrations mean absolutely silent operation and it is even possible to set a Quiet and Super Quiet Mode .
The new Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pumps they are completed with a truly innovative user interface : a remote control panel with integrated thermostat and LCD display, function keys and multi-level menu through which it is possible to completely manage the system connected to the heat pump by connecting up to 16 units. Among the functions that can be set , Cooling Operation Priority , Space Heating Operation Priority and DHW Operation Priority to give priority to the heating, cooling or domestic hot water mode according to needs; still the AUTO , Holiday , Comfort , ECO and even Disinfect , anti-legionella modes. All aimed at providing the maximum possible comfort in every situation.
GREAT INSTALLATION AND USE MODULARITY
Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pumps can be combined with underfloor systems , fan coils and fan-coils , they can replace traditional boilers or, in the hybrid version, integrate better into existing radiator systems; they can also be integrated with the most modern solar systems for maximum efficiency and energy saving.
Thanks to their really compact dimensions , the Clivet Edge EVO 2.0 - EXC heat pumps allow easy installation and reduced overall dimensions.
Even if the heat pump is equipped with a hydronic module, integration with a storage tank for heat pumps is advisable for the construction of systems for the production of domestic hot water.
