Olimpia Splendid presents UNICO , the family of air conditioners without an external unit. Unlike fixed air conditioners consisting of two units and portable air conditioners, which are often inconvenient and bulky, UNICO is the middle ground solution that combines the efficiency of the former with the versatility of the latter! This air conditioner has all the features of the best air conditioners on the market, but also offers the great advantage of being able to overcome any architectural limitations present in many homes (especially in historic buildings) by virtue of the absence of an external unit, replaced by two simple holes through which only two 200 mm diameter air grilles are visible from the outside. In essence, UNICO is the evolution of heat pump air conditioners and is truly one of a kind!
DESIGN AND AIR QUALITY
This air conditioner features an innovative and slim design ! Extremely thin, measuring just 18 cm, it offers a refined yet unobtrusive design element that blends seamlessly into any style of space. Its single-piece, completely flat body features a streamlined and optimized internal layout for easy maintenance. It features a backlit display with on-board touch controls and a large flap (the oscillation of which can be set using the remote control, locking the deflector in the desired position) for even air distribution throughout the room.
Air quality is guaranteed by the multi-filtering system, which includes an electrostatic filter (with dust protection) and an activated carbon filter (with odor protection). The filters are easy to remove and replace for easier cleaning and maintenance.
A further element of evolution and eco-sustainability is evident in the use of an innovative R920 refrigeration circuit with 5 mm coils, which allows this model to reach up to 2.3 kW of power , with a gas charge lower than the 152 g required by law (a gas with almost zero environmental impact, GWP = 3). This offers the great advantage of free-standing installation ; Unico Evo can therefore be installed in any environment, without minimum limits on the room's floor space or installation height.

The Olimpia Splendid Unico Evo air conditioner is a heat pump air conditioner without an external unit with a maximum power of 2.5 kW and capable of achieving energy efficiency ratings up to Class A in both cooling and heating . It features a Twin Rotary compressor and latest-generation electronics that work in sync to ensure excellent performance and acoustic comfort under all conditions. At low frequencies, Unico is the quietest air conditioner range ever , and with the Silent Mode function activated, it reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 30 dB(A) even with the compressor running—a truly incredible result!
It features a series of functions designed to maximize user comfort: Cooling/Heating/Dehumidification and Ventilation for every seasonal need; Economy function that allows energy saving and at the same time automatically optimizes the machine's performance; Auto function that modulates the operating parameters in relation to the room temperature; 24H Timer that allows you to set two different on and off timers from the remote control or a weekly timer from the APP; additional modes and/or parameters can be viewed in the user manual provided with the product.
Furthermore, the Olimpia Splendid Unico Evo air conditioner includes: an on/off contact for enabling or energy boost ; an RS485 port set up for controlling the air conditioner with external BMS in Modbus RTU language; in this HP (heat pump) version , a condensate drain is mandatory. During installation, it is possible to configure the machine in the COOLING ONLY version by deactivating the heating function, or, if necessary, in HEATING ONLY, by deactivating the cooling function.
It can be managed via on-board controls or the full digital remote control supplied as standard , but also via integrated WiFi by conveniently downloading the OS Home app available on Google Play and the App Store onto your smartphone.
Installation must be carried out by expert and authorised technical personnel .
