Lowara expands the range of SCUBA electric pumps , the submersible, multi-impeller pumps with excellent performance , silent , versatile , compact and highly resistant to corrosion . The SCUBA family is enriched thanks to a wider range of powers and heads available , as well as a series of accessories to choose from to best adapt them to the most varied needs of use, be it civil, agricultural or industrial.
The model presented here is the 3SC8/11/5 CG with single-phase power supply and float switch ; its nominal power is 1.1kW (or 1.5 HP), it has a flow rate range from 20 to 70 l/min (1.2 -4.2 m3 /h) and reaches a head of over 75 m.
All new SCUBA pumps are equipped with radial centrifugal impellers in technopolymer for high resistance to sand abrasion (this model has 8); the diffusers , the external jacket and the motor casing are instead in AISI 304 stainless steel for the best possible resistance to corrosion. The head is in micro-cast stainless steel .
In SCUBA , the electric motor is protected from infiltrations thanks to an efficient double seal system with an interposed oil chamber; at the same time, since the hydraulic part is located below the motor, it is continuously cooled by the pumped liquid, thus avoiding excessive overheating.
APPLICATIONS
SCUBA electric pumps can be used for water supply from domestic wells, tanks or first collection tanks, 6” wells or Roman wells, basins and watercourses; pressurization , sprinkler irrigation , rainwater collection. Again, in water reuse systems, rainwater collection tanks, car wash systems and even air purification and humidification.
GUARANTEED SAVINGS AND HIGH COMFORT
SCUBA pumps stand out from other pumps on the market for their high performance in terms of head and flow rate ; at the same time, they are particularly silent pumps thanks to the constant pressure and variable speed operation of the motor.
During pressurization operations they can be inserted directly into the wells or tanks, avoiding suction and noise problems.
The pumps, which can operate both in vertical and horizontal position, can be immersed up to a maximum of 17 m; the pumped liquid can reach 40°C. They are equipped with a 20m power cable.
The single-phase version is equipped as standard with both automatic reset overload protection and a capacitor.
EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
The SCUBA electric pumps are equipped with a factory-preassembled electric cable and float but with a removable connector for easy installation and maintenance; they have an off-center delivery sleeve and, for greater safety, they are fitted with a steel eyelet for connecting a safety rope.
The mechanical seal in silicon carbide, together with the second lubricated mechanical seal, thanks to the particular geometry of the oil chamber, guarantee maximum reliability of the pump over time.
