The Omnia M 3.2 26T heat pump is the new jewel by Ferroli that perfectly satisfies any winter and summer air conditioning need and also the production of domestic hot water. Designed to facilitate users in the ordinary management of the product in a simple and intuitive way, making it easy to constantly monitor the settings and your energy expenditure.
This 26 kW heat pump is monobloc , three-phase , equipped with Inverter technology and respectful of the environment by virtue of the use of low environmental impact R32 gas ; capable of excellent performance, it reaches up to energy class A + for the production of water at 55ºC and A+++ for water produced at 35°C, taking air from the outside and using it as the only source of energy for heat production, it avoids the use of any type of fuel, requiring only a minimal energy contribution.
The unit is characterised by the use of a DC inverter compressor which allows the power supplied to be modulated from 30 to 120% of the nominal power and is complete with a hydronic kit consisting of all the essential components for quick and safe external installation.
TECHNOLOGY, COMFORT AND SAVINGS
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 26T heat pump works at high efficiency, and being able to produce water up to 60°C it can be easily combined with low temperature systems (fan coils, radiators, underfloor heating) and used for the indirect production of domestic hot water (DHW) via an external boiler to be purchased separately ; the units are also characterised not only by high energy efficiency but also by low noise levels which allow them to be used as a single generator serving the system or integrated with other energy sources such as support electric resistors or boilers. Equipped as standard with a boiler water temperature probe and an external air temperature probe for climate control in both heating and cooling.
Both the refrigerant and hydraulic circuits are contained inside the unit to facilitate maintenance operations. The first circuit features a Twin rotary compressor with DC Inverter motor that ensures vibration reduction and greater dynamic balance, in addition to completing it there is the PLATE EXCHANGER in brazed stainless steel complete with antifreeze resistance and the axial FANS with brushless DC motor complete with safety protection grilles. The second circuit is equipped with a low consumption CIRCULATOR with brushless DC motor, water flow switch, automatic air vent, water pressure gauge, expansion vessel, safety valve and Y-shaped water filter . The unit is equipped with variable speed control of the fans that allows seasonal adaptation in harsh climatic conditions and also the hydraulic pipes are thermally insulated to avoid the formation of condensation and heat loss.
There are many functions that can be set on the Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 heat pump, so innovative and practical that they make this product one of the most functional and multitasking. For example, HEATING/COOLING works by modulating the frequency of the compressor to maintain the temperature of the water produced at the setpoint value; FAST ACS, which can be activated manually, allows you to give priority to domestic hot water by bringing the ACS boiler to the setpoint in the shortest possible time; ANTI-LEGIONELLA FUNCTION can be set in weekly cycles, in this case integration with an electric resistance of the ACS boiler or boiler is necessary; SILENT MODE (2 levels) which reduces both the noise of the machine and energy consumption in settable time slots (for example at night); ON/OFF , in this case the unit can be activated and deactivated via an external contact and managed via a controller; HOT/COLD involves activation or deactivation in cold mode and hot mode via 2 external contacts (e.g. zone thermostat that manages the request for heat and cold / remote switch); ECO gives the possibility to define time slots and relative setpoints for ECO modes in hot and cold mode; ANTIFREEZE PROTECTION guaranteed up to an external air temperature of -20°C thanks to the heat pump itself operating in hot mode, the antifreeze electric resistance (standard) and the electric booster (if installed).
Furthermore: it is possible to manage a possible integration and/or reserve electrical resistance and for the anti-legionella function; the unit activates in hot mode to maintain the temperature of a DHW boiler at the setpoint value, a 3-way diverter valve (not supplied) and a temperature probe (probe supplied) are required to be inserted in a well of the DHW boiler; 2 digital inputs on the PCB with specific operating logics allow you to manage a photovoltaic system and an input from the electricity grid (SMART GRID “intelligent network” function) and also MANAGEMENT OF UP TO 2 ZONES (1 MIXED AND 1 DIRECT), because the unit is able to manage the pumps (not supplied) of both zones, instead for the mixed zone only, the mixing valve (not supplied) and the water delivery temperature probe (available as an accessory); current limitation by parameter, display of all operating parameters and error diagnostics with alarm history. MODULARITY AND INSTALLATION FLEXIBILITY
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 26T heat pump, being a monobloc unit, has significantly reduced installation costs and times and, in addition, the device includes all the hydraulic elements necessary for a correct and rapid connection to the system and to the ACS.
The unit provides for the use of additional energy sources such as a boiler or electric resistance that can be activated in place of or in addition to the heat pump when the system serves the heating system or for the production of domestic hot water; the additional operation is intelligent so that the sources will be activated automatically in the event of failure of the heat pump.
Cascade management of up to 6 units (of which 1 Master and 5 Slaves, even with different powers) has also been foreseen and made possible by means of a single controller connected to the Master unit and with constant cascade operation even in the event of an anomaly in a Slave unit.
The Ferroli Omnia M 3.2 26T heat pump can be managed via wired control (supplied) and via App available for both iOS and Android.
External installation must be carried out by qualified and authorised technical personnel.
