Description
Olimpia Splendid Sherpa Monobloc S2 E 16 kW R32 single-phase heat pump
Ideal for housing units of 160 sqm with an average height of 2.7 m
The Sherpa Monobloc S2 E inverter air-to-water heat pump by Olimpia Splendid is a concentrate of technology and advantages that stands out in the panorama of its sector. From the installer, to the distributor, to the end user, everyone will notice its compactness, simplicity of installation and use, technological features, great comfort and energy saving!
The Sherpa Monobloc S2 E heat pump is an air-water heat pump with R32 refrigerant gas , therefore with low environmental impact. It is a monobloc heat pump, i.e. without components to be mounted inside the home; thanks to Olimpia Splendid's Compact Technology which offers these machines as single fan for all sizes and needs, it is compact and simple to install in all available sizes, from 6 to 16 kW.
Ideal for heating , cooling and producing domestic hot water , the Sherpa Monobloc S2 E heat pump offers performance at the top of its category with energy classes up to A+++ . It is suitable for both residential and small commercial applications, in new builds and renovations.
The version proposed here is the 16 kW single-phase one, ideal for use in rooms up to 160 sqm.
Guaranteed savings and high comfort
Thanks to its construction technology, the heat pump draws heat from the external environment to transfer it to the system terminals and the Sherpa Monobloc S2 E can produce 4 kW of thermal energy for every kW of electricity consumed: this means that the 75% of the energy produced is completely free, clean and renewable!
The Olimpia Splendid Sherpa Monobloc S2 E heat pump boasts truly high performance and efficiency combined with low consumption . It guarantees maximum performance both in cooling, with an external temperature of up to +43°C, and in heating, with performance above 80% at an external temperature of -7°C; it also produces domestic hot water up to 60°C and with external temperatures down to -25°C.
Among the features we have the twin rotary DC inverter hermetic compressor.
The water side exchange coil is made of stainless steel plates, the air side one is finned with copper tubes and aluminum-manganese fins, with Golden Fin anti-corrosion treatment and hydrophilic treatment. The axial fan has brushless DC motors and thermal protection; the Domestic Hot Water tank probe is also supplied, while the external air probe is integrated in the machine.
The new Sherpa Monobloc S2 E are completed with a truly innovative user interface: a control panel with touchscreen display through which it is possible to completely manage the heat pump. Among the functions that can be set, rapid heating of domestic hot water , anti-legionella cycle with timer, silent mode with timer, holiday mode with antifreeze function , regulation by climatic curves, management of a supplementary heat source; all is aimed at providing maximum comfort in every situation.
The heat pump can also be controlled remotely via smartphone or tablet thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi module . All you need to do is connect it to a Wi-Fi network and download the Comfort Home app on your device (smartphone or tablet). The Sherpa Monobloc S2 E are also compatible with Olimpia Splendid's SiOS , the brand's Building Management System for managing all system components.
As an alternative to the touchscreen panel, the management of the heat pump via room thermostat can be set.
Furthermore, through cascade management , the units can be connected to each other (up to 6 units of the same size, with 1 master unit which produces DHW) to reach up to 96 kW of system power.
Great modularity of installation and use
The Olimpia Splendid Sherpa Monobloc S2 E heat pumps can be combined with fan-coils, with floor or traditional systems, they can replace traditional boilers and can be integrated with solar thermal and boilers for the production of domestic hot water. Already equipped with a hydronic module, integration with a special 3-way valve kit is required for the production of DHW, but integration with an accumulator for the production of domestic hot water is recommended for greater availability in withdrawal.
The structure of the heat pump is made of galvanized steel sheet and is complete with condensate collection tray and antifreeze heater; the compact size allows for easy installation.

Energy label
Within a framework of European environmental policy aimed at protecting the climate and the environment, the European Union in recent years has launched a series of directives with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions in the European Union by 2020.
Some of these directives have had a strong impact on the way we consume, offering us greater awareness of how our choices can affect the environment around us.
An example are the two Directives Energy Related Products (ErP) and Energy Labeling (ELD), which aim on the one hand to reduce the energy consumption of products through eco-friendly design (ErP) on the other hand to make the label that shows mandatory the energy efficiency class for all appliances sold within the European Union (ELD).
These standards applied up to now to refrigerators, televisions and washing machines, have also been extended to space heaters such as air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, etc. and appliances for the production of hot water such as DHW heat pumps, water heaters, hot water accumulators, etc.
The new label highlights not only the energy efficiency class but also other performances such as sound power, use, thermal power. In this way the final consumer will have more information to better orient themselves in the choice and purchase of these devices.
For environmental heating appliances such as air conditioners, the energy efficiency classes range from A ++ to G while for domestic hot water production appliances such as water heaters, they range from A to G.
